The 2018 Tribute Band Concert Series at The Cottonwood Cove
The best live music in the Midwest comes from the riverfront stage at our RV Resort & Marina on the Missouri River. Most musical acts perform songs from a variety of popular bands, and sometimes even a few songs of their very own. This summer, throughout July and August, The Cottonwood Cove has an incredible lineup of tribute bands to entertain you every Saturday.
A tribute band is one that covers only the songs of one particular artist that has become well-known and well-loved over their career rather than lots of different artists. Often, they are so good, it seems like you are actually listening to the original band perform the music! That is definitely the case with the lineup we have in store for you this season.
July 7
Bad Medicine: A Tribute to Bon Jovi
With years of experience emulating their favorite band, Bad Medicine has the look, sound, and professionalism that is second to none. They are one of the few Bon Jovi tribute bands that have had the opportunity to meet Jon Bon Jovi and perform for him live. Their song list covers all the songs made popular by Bon Jovi.
July 14
Revelation: A Tribute to Journey
Because they have such love and respect for the music of Journey, this tribute band set out to share that amazing sound with the rest of the country. They do an excellent job capturing the sound and magic of that fantastic band. Some of the songs you will get to hear them perform are "Don't Stop Believin'," "Faithfully, "Open Arms, "Lovin', Touchin' Squeezin'," and many more.

Headliner - Shoot to Thrill: A Tribute to AC/DC
When you see these guys perform, you'll think you are at an AC/DC concert from back in the day! Get ready to rock to popular tunes like "Thunderstruck," Back in Black," You Shook Me All Night Long," and so many, many more!
Opener - Blow Your Top: A Tribute ZZ Top
This band features three gentlemen that are really going to take you back to an incredible time in music. We'll be rocking out to tunes like "Sharp Dressed Man," Gimme All Your Lovin'," "Legs," "Cheap Sunglasses," and more.
August 4
Hotel Desperado: A Tribute to the Eagles
The thing that makes this particular Eagles tribute band authentic is the fact that there is a member playing the part of each Eagles personality, and they each play those parts unbelievably well! The harmonies are on point, the musicianship is impeccable, and the dedication is undeniable.
August 18
Free Fallin': A Tribute to Tom Petty
This is the nation's favorite traveling tribute to Tom Petty! Their show is full of the power and passion that went into all of Tom Petty's best-selling songs. You will enjoy a wide range of Petty's musical career, everything from "Damn the Torpedoes" through the latest songs, including hits from the Traveling Wilburys.

Bill Forness & One More Round: A Tribute to Johnny Cash & June Carter
Bill Forness & One More Round perform a theatrical tribute to the "Man in Black" with an authentic stage presence Johnny Cash fans deserve! During their outstanding show, you will hear hits for the 1950's onward, including "Ring of Fire," Folsom Prison Blues," I Walk The Line," "Jackson," and many more.
