Our Amazing Live Music Lineup For Labor Day Weekend 2018!
We host the best live music in Nebraska every weekend here on The Cottonwood Cove's riverfront stage. For Labor Day Weekend, we've created a lineup of incredible entertainment that is sure to have you on the dance floor all weekend long! Here is a look at the bands we will be featuring for your holiday listening pleasure.
Silas Creek
Friday, Aug. 31
This awesome band will keep you dancing all night long to all kinds of different types of music, from classic country to modern hits, along with some classic rock thrown in for good measure. If you're a regular visitor to The Cottonwood Cove, you've probably witnessed these fellas rockin' a very happy crowd. If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing them before, then get ready for a real treat!
402 Band
Saturday, Sept. 1
The 402 Band played for the first time at The Cottonwood Cove over Memorial Day Weekend this year, and we're delighted to have them gracing our stage once again. They play super hits from everywhere for all to dance to, creating great music that everyone can enjoy in a party atmosphere. You will hear classic favorites as well as current hits, and this versatile and diverse group will keep you on the dance floor with a sound and an energy that's hard to resist.
Charm School Dropouts
Sunday, Sept. 2
These guys love to rock! You'll very likely be out on the dance floor for their entire set. They play a wide range of music, covering bands like Blink 182, Bon Jovi, Buckcherry, Duran Duran, Eddie Money, Florida Georgia Line, Green Day, Guns N Roses, Justin Timberlake, Kiss, Luke Bryan, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Poison, Prince, Sublime, White Stripes, Weezer, and many, many more.

Sunday, Sept. 2
This 5-piece Pop/Rock band out of Omaha covers all of your favorites from the 70's all the way up until today's pop and country hits. Their excitement on stage spreads quickly to their audience and the talented performances that they always offer keep everyone excited and on the dance floor.
Crossfire
Monday, Sept. 3
Crossfire is "Omaha's premier country dance band!" Whether you're regularly a country fan or not, these gentlemen are sure to have your toes tapping and a smile on your face. They perform music you can line dance to, music you can slow dance to, and music to get your groove on! Crossfire has been a staple of the Omaha country music scene for the past 8 years, and we look forward to hearing them many more times in the coming years.
Labor Day Weekend at The Cottonwood Cove
The live music is a big part of the Labor Day Weekend celebration at our popular vacation destination in the Midwest, but that's only a portion of the fun that is waiting for you when you get here. The Lodge will be serving up fantastic food and incredible drinks, including our signature cocktail, the Watermelon.
The Lodge will also be showing the season-opening game for the Huskers at 7 pm on Saturday, September 1. We've got quite a few football fans around here that make watching the game incredibly exciting. (The tailgating is pretty awesome too!) We'll even have our very own "halftime show" with the 402 Band, because that's when they'll hit the stage.
Our fantastic 21+ pool (brand new this year) will be open all weekend long. You can chill out in the water and even enjoy a cocktail or two from the swim-up bar. (It's only the 2nd swim-up bar in the entire state of Nebraska!)
Last, but certainly not least, if you have your very own RV lot at our RV campground on the Missouri River, then you get to set up camp right smack dab in the middle of all of the action. Everyone around here is like family, and when we all get together, it's always a good time!
We still have a few RV lots available in our latest addition, which will be the last lots we add until 2020. If you'd like to learn more about reserving a lot, give Steve a call at (402) 960-1515. Each one comes with incredible amenities and some of the best neighbors you'll ever meet.
