Family Fun is Waiting at Our Midwest Vacation Destination!
August is Family Fun Month. In the humble opinion of The Cottonwood Cove, nothing is more fun than RV camping on the Missouri River! The family-friendly atmosphere at our riverfront RV campground & marina in the Midwest is the perfect place to enjoy some quality family fun. Here are a few things that campers of all ages can enjoy around here.
Outdoor Fun
Our vacation destination in the Midwest is located in an excellent spot to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. At your campsite, there will be lots of nights enjoying cookouts and stories over the campfire. Also, just last fall we added a fantastic playground for the kids to enjoy.
With the river practically in your backyard, hours can be spent fishing and numerous nights offer breathtaking sunsets over the water. You'll have access to our 40' wide soft-slope boat ramp that leads to a 12-acre deepwater marina. All of our docks, slips, and ramps are even wheelchair accessible.
Even amidst all of that outdoor fun, sometimes you need to check back into "real life." (aka, non-vacation life) For those times, some of your family members may be thrilled to hear that we have high-speed Wi-Fi access points throughout The Cottonwood Cove to ensure a strong internet signal.
Friendly Neighbors
When you become a member of The Cottonwood Cove, you'll quickly get to know the other members that camp with us year after year. Strict guidelines are in place to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere. (Although we have plenty of grownup fun planned for those times when Mom & Dad can get away for a few hours!)
We get to know each other through members-only events and day-to-day RV living, watching each other grow from season to season. Eventually, everyone begins feeling as if they have a great big extended family that looks forward to hanging out together every summer. (Many even meet up during the off-season!)
Fantastic Food
Our Nebraska restaurant & bar on the Missouri River features fantastic food and delicious drinks for everyone. No matter what your tastes, you're sure to find something yummy to enjoy on the menu.
You'll find nachos, burgers, tacos, pizza, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a lot more. We've even got a special "Little Dinghy's" menu for the youngest diners that includes a drink, fries, and either a kids' burger or chicken strips.
Live Music
Each weekend some of the best live music in Nebraska can be found on our riverfront stage. All ages can enjoy the outdoor concerts early in the evening, and when the little ones get tired, "home" is only a short stroll away. You can rest up in the comfort of your RV and then rise and shine bright and early for even more fun. (Or, you can sleep in. After all, you are on vacation!)
