Opening day for The Cottonwood Cove is scheduled for April 4th, and while it is still a few weeks away, there is no better time to start securing your plans than now. The Cottonwood Cove is located in Blair, Nebraska and on right on the banks of the Missouri River. If you are looking for a Midwest vacation destination that provides the perfect place for you to enjoy activities on the water, we’ve got just the spot - literally! We have a 12-acre marina where you can access all kinds of boating fun at mile marker 651. We also have a 40-foot wide soft slope boat ramp leading into a 12-acre deepwater marine which provides you with full access to all of the fun adventures awaiting you on the water!

Enjoy the Land as Well

When you aren’t on the water, we offer plenty of fun on the land as well! Around here, we enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, campfires, picnicking, tailgating, and more. We have an amazing playground for the kids, a 21+ pool and a swim-up bar which is a great place to hang out on those hot summer days.

Great Food to Eat

At The Cottonwood Cove, we boast of an incredible bar and restaurant in the Lodge. With a full menu of pizza, burgers, and more, as well as weekly specials in-season, you won’t want to miss it! We have seating indoors and out, so that when the weather is pleasant you can soak up the sunshine. When it’s not, we easily roll down the 7 large glass doors and keep the party hopping. We have one bar located inside the Lodge, and two more outside, including the swim-up bar which can be accessed from outside of the pool as well.


Exciting Event & Live Music

The best live music in Nebraska graces our 40-foot riverfront stage every weekend during the season. Amazing sounds entertain you with the beautiful Missouri River for a backdrop. Dates for 2020 are still being filled in, but there are quite a few already booked so you can start planning your favorite weekends to be here.

We are also home to many fantastic annual events throughout the season. Some for members only, but quite a few that everyone in the area is invited to. Once you spend a summer holiday with us, you won't ever want to enjoy them anywhere else! Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day are all weekends that it gets even more exciting around the campground than usual. Our Lodge can also be rented out for private events throughout the year.

Another fun thing is that because customers renew their lease every year, a lot of people pay for improvements to their lots - concrete (even stamped & colored!), turf, sod, sheds, gazebos, decks, permanent fire pits. Really, LOTS of cool stuff!! We even have numerous setups where one camper will pull in & their neighbor will back in so that they share their “open space.” Then they will put 2 gazebos together & lots of other unique setups, creativity never ends!

The wait is finally over... the brand new pool and swim-up bar at The Cottonwood Cove are now open! Quite a few guests at our Midwest RV Resort & Marina have given it a try, and absolutely everyone loves it! Home Of Nebraska's Favorite Drink - The Watermelon!

Every person has a favorite "go-to" cocktail. If you've ever had the chance to try the signature drink at our RV resort & marina in Nebraska , there's a good chance your favorite is the Watermelon! Haven't had one yet? The Cottonwood Cove is open for our 2018 season, so now is the perfect time to discover this refreshing drink! Home of the Watermelon Way back in January of 1982, George Rybin, son of the owners of The Cottonwood Cove at the time, as well as a future owner himself, went on a Carribean cruise.
