Fourth of July Celebrations at The Cottonwood Cove

If there was ever a year to be excited about the Fourth of July, it’s this year! As we’ve all looked forward to friends, family, food, and freedom, this year has reminded us even more so how valuable these things are. At The Cottonwood Cove, we have continued on what generations before us have started - creating a place where family and friends can gather, have fun, celebrate, and relax. This year, we intend to do just that, so take a look at our upcoming schedule, as well as learn a bit more about The Cottonwood Cove for those of you who are new to our RV resort in Blair Nebraska!

More Than the Music

As if the live music wasn’t amazing enough, we also have many fun activities to enjoy around The Cottonwood Cove campground. Our Lodge will be open and serving up all of your favorite food and drinks - not to mention our famous Watermelon! This drink was brought to you special from a beautiful tropical island, where a team member was able to coax the recipe out of an islander.

Our food and drinks taste even better when you enjoy them from the cool of the pool! Our gorgeous outdoor pool is complete with a swim-up bar and is only open to 21+, and has the same hours as the lodge.

It has been a HUGE name when looking for fun on the Missouri River in Nebraska. The wait is finally over... the brand new pool and swim-up bar at The Cottonwood Cove are now open! Quite a few guests at our Midwest RV Resort & Marina have given it a try, and absolutely everyone loves it! Home Of Nebraska's Favorite Drink - The Watermelon!

Every person has a favorite "go-to" cocktail. If you've ever had the chance to try the signature drink at our RV resort & marina in Nebraska , there's a good chance your favorite is the Watermelon! Haven't had one yet? The Cottonwood Cove is open for our 2018 season, so now is the perfect time to discover this refreshing drink! Home of the Watermelon Way back in January of 1982, George Rybin, son of the owners of The Cottonwood Cove at the time, as well as a future owner himself, went on a Carribean cruise. He was accompanied by his then-girlfriend, Sharon Young, who worked at The Cottonwood Cove Marina.  While visiting the islands, they both fell in love with a delicious, knock-you-on-your-a$$ drink called, you guessed it, the Watermelon.
