The 4th of July falls on a Wednesday this year, which means we'll be celebrating all week long!  We've got an action-packed schedule of events, so now is the perfect time to enjoy Cottonwood Cove for a whole week.  If you can't make it a week vacation, Cottonwood Cove will be the place to be on the weekend before and after the holiday.  We've also included fun 4th of July Trivia in today's blog to keep you entertained until you can get out of the office and enjoy the holiday. We're so excited to announce our new blog where we'll be sharing with you upcoming events taking place at the Cottonwood Cove Marina & RV Resort , information about the changes you'll see at our park, and much more! But first, if you've never visited our wonderful vacation destination, we want to share with you a little background about our magical piece of paradise! A LITTLE HISTORY Since the late 1960’s, Cottonwood has been a HUGE name for Missouri River fun in Blair, Nebraska. In 2011, we witnessed devastation to our beautiful park like nothing we've ever seen. The flooding of the Missouri river erased Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina from the landscape. But with unrelenting dedication and hard work, six years later, it’s back! When we first took on the daunting task of bringing new life to the beloved Cottonwood Cove, it wasn't without plenty of blood, sweat, and tears. But our hard work and perseverance has paid off...
