This Labor Day Weekend, we've put together a thoroughly entertaining lineup that will keep you out on that dance floor! Here's a closer look at the bands coming to our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River this holiday weekend.  Taxi Driver Friday, Aug. 30 This 6-piece cover band is known for having one of the most diverse song lists in the Midwest! They play music spanning from the 50s to today including oldies, Motown, classic rock, country, dance, new hits, and more. Though the band has changed members a few times over the years, its been around for nearly 2 decades. Even though there are lots of fun things to do outside of your RV at our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River , you most likely still spend a lot of time inside the vehicle. Occasionally updating the look of the RV's interior can be a nice change.  A complete overhaul can get pricy fast, but there are simple improvements that can be made that don't have to cost a lot. August is Family Fun Month. In the humble opinion of The Cottonwood Cove, nothing is more fun than RV camping on the Missouri River ! The family-friendly atmosphere at our riverfront RV campground & marina in the Midwest is the perfect place to enjoy some quality family fun. Here are a few things that campers of all ages can enjoy around here.  Outdoor Fun Our vacation destination in the Midwest is located in an excellent spot to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities. At your campsite, there will be lots of nights enjoying cookouts and stories over the campfire. Also, just last fall we added a fantastic playground for the kids to enjoy.  With the river practically in your backyard, hours can be spent fishing and numerous nights offer breathtaking sunsets over the water. The Cottonwood Cove you know and love today has been around in some form since the 1960s. That has left us with a HUGE name to live up to because over the years many amazing memories have been created at our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River .  Quite a few things have changed since that original opening day but the vision of a great place for everyone who loves the outdoors, the river, boating, biking, and now camping has always remained the same. We are once again ready to celebrate all that we've been, that we are now, and that we will become at another great big exciting Cottonwood Reunion on Saturday, June 15, 2019 !  Yes, we may have water on the lower campground right now but the restaurant, bars, and pool area are unaffected and ready for a celebration!
