Your favorite vacation destination in the Midwest had all kinds of fun things planned for you this 4th of July! This holiday is always an exciting one at The Cottonwood Cove and we're aiming to make this year bigger and better than ever.  Parade & Fireworks Our Annual 4th of July Golf Cart Parade will be rolling out at 2:00 pm this year on Saturday, July 6 . We challenge everyone to decorate the most exciting golf cart and join the parade. Show up early to get signed in and lined up. For everyone not riding in the parade, we're including you too! We need all of you to vote on this year's best-dressed golf cart. It's always a great show and tons of fun for all ages!  On Saturday night at 10:15 pm we'll all sit back to enjoy a great big, fantastic Fireworks Extravaganza over the river! It's that exciting time of year at The Cottonwood Cove when we get to suit up and dive into the best pool & swim-up bar in Nebraska ! (As long as Mother Nature lets up on the rainy weather, that is.) Weather permitting, Memorial Day Weekend at our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River is not only an awesome holiday to enjoy great food & drinks, fun friends, and incredible live music, but also some much-anticipated pool time!  Everyone immediately fell in love with the 21+ pool and swim-up bar that we opened in July last season. (It is 1 of only 2 in the entire state of Nebraska!) Once you're in the water, you really have no need to get back out all day long. (Unless of course, you need to go to the bathroom!)  Simply swim up to the bar, place your drink order, then glide ride on over to one of the tables surrounded by underwater bar stools to enjoy it. The wait is finally over... the brand new pool and swim-up bar at The Cottonwood Cove are now open! Quite a few guests at our Midwest RV Resort & Marina have given it a try, and absolutely everyone loves it! It looks like the rest of the season is going to be even more fun than we're used to.  The Pool The weather forced us to push back opening day for the best 21+ pool in the Midwest , but we plugged through and the result is a beautiful and fantastic spot to keep cool all summer long!
