It's time to mark your calendars and start planning those great costumes for the always exciting annual Halloween Party at The Cottonwood Cove! You get a night full of great company, spooky fun, fantastic live music, and maybe even a bit of "trick-or-boozing!" (You know, grown-up "treats!") You don't want to miss the best Halloween party in Blair on Saturday, October 27, 2018, and invite all of your friends to join us too!
Cash Prizes
One of the most fun things about a Halloween party is seeing all of the creative costumes that people show up in. Get ready to put on your most amazing Halloween look and compete for some awesome cash prizes for the best dressed to be given out around 10 pm that evening. That definitely makes putting a little extra thought into your costume well worth it. As an added bonus to thank everyone for participating in our Halloween fun, we'll have gift cards for everyone in costume! Yes, you read that right, everyone!
Live Music
In addition to the entertainment of trying to guess who is under all of those fantastic costumes, we've also got amazing live music lined up for your listening pleasure! Simplicated will hit the stage from 7-11 pm. Their infectious high-energy brand of rock 'n' roll consists of classic favorites to modern-day hits. You most likely heard them on our outdoor stage over the summer, but if they're new to you, then you're truly in for a Halloween treat!

Just in case you need a bit of a boost to get those creative juices flowing, we've come up with a few suggestions inspired by some of last year's costumes. Use this as a starting point to come up with something that will surprise everyone.
Something Scary
Since this is an adult party, go ahead and get spooky and see if you can scare a few people. After all, it's all in good fun and perfectly acceptable on All Hollow's Eve! (Or a few days before that, as long as it's a party!)
Couples Costumes
There are lots of great ideas out there that let couples dress-up for a combined costume look. This works well for buddies too, not just "lovers." The only downside is that if you win the costume contest, you've got to split those winnings, so make sure it's someone you don't mind sharing with.
Group Costumes
This would involve an even bigger split in the winnings, but getting together with a bunch of your friends and dressing up in a theme together always makes a good show for the crowd.
Channel Your Inner Celebrity
If you've always dreamed of being someone famous, tonight's the night to do just that. Fictional characters work too. In addition to putting on the clothing, put on the attitude for the evening as well. You know, truly commit!
