The Best Memorial Day Weekend Live Music in Nebraska
Memorial Day Weekend 2019 will be here before you know it and we expect you to spend the holiday right here with us at The Cottonwood Cove. We do our very best to make any time you spend at our riverfront RV campground & marina in Nebraska a fun and memorable one, but on the holidays we really go all out! One way we keep things exciting is by booking the best bands to keep you entertained all weekend long.
Memorial Day Weekend Music
There's always outdoor fun to be had at our vacation destination in the Midwest, such as boating, swimming, grilling, fishing, and more. Thanks to our great big outdoor stage sitting alongside the Missouri River, we've turned live music into an outdoor activity too.
Every weekend we have amazing bands lined up to keep you entertained but as usual, for Memorial Day Weekend, we've outdone ourselves! Even though the Lodge is usually closed on Mondays, we'll be open on Memorial Day Monday with an extra helping of incredible music.
Red Delicious
This group is described as the freshest, sweetest, tastiest party band in the Omaha/Lincoln area, and they play everything because they're crazy talented like that! They perform music from 80's rock to today's current country and pop favorites, and each performance features a custom set list to fit the audience they are playing for. Red Delicious claims to be able to spice up pretty much anything from any genre of music from the last 1,000 years. Now that sounds like a show you don't want to miss!
Taxi Driver
This 6-piece cover band is known for having one of the most diverse song lists in the Midwest! They play music spanning from the 50s to today including oldies, Motown, classic rock, country, dance, new hits, and more. Though the band has changed members a few times over the years, its been around for nearly 2 decades. Taxi Drive always puts on a show that has the crowd up on their feet and having a good time.
Five Card Stud
This band made its Cottonwood Cove debut just last season and they were a huge hit with the crowd! No matter what type of music you like, it's very likely they can play it. Their setlist is made up of music from popular favorites like Garth Brooks, Zac Brown Band, Eric Clapton, Guns & Roses, Robert Palmer, Blink 182, Rick Springfield, Johnny Cash, Greenday, Keith Urban, The Ramones, Kenny Wayne Shephard, and so many, many more. Like we said, you're bound to hear one of your favorite songs with a list like that!
Charm School Dropouts
These fellas love to rock! You'll very likely be out on the dance floor for their entire set. They play a wide range of music, covering bands like Blink 182, Bon Jovi, Buckcherry, Duran Duran, Eddie Money, Florida Georgia Line, Green Day, Guns N Roses, Justin Timberlake, Kiss, Luke Bryan, Maroon 5, Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Poison, Prince, Sublime, White Stripes, Weezer, and many, many more.
Eckophonic
Eckophonic delivers a hyped up show with current Top 40 songs from Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Lady Gag, KE$HA, Rhianna, Usher, LMFAO, and much, much more! They also sprinkle their set lists with choice 80s and 90s dance songs you know and love.
Joystick
This group is an energetic 5-piece rock band out of Omaha that plays all of your favorites. The talented members of Joystick cover music from the 70s to the hits of today. You'll hear a bit of it all, from pop and country music. They'll be an awesome closer to an exciting Memorial Day Weekend!
Every year we try to top all of the fun previously had at our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River, and this year we've succeeded once again! There's never a dull moment at The Cottonwood Cove and we plan to keep it that way. It makes for incredible memories and keeps everyone coming back to make even more, year after year!
