Make Plans to Spend Labor Day Weekend at The Cottonwood Cove
Labor Day Weekend is almost here which means it's nearly time for another unforgettable Labor Day Weekend Party at The Cottonwood Cove! Every weekend is a blast at our RV campground & marina on the Missouri River but 3-day holiday weekends give us a little extra time to enjoy ourselves and an added excuse to up the excitement a few more levels.
Here's a peek at some of the fun you will have when you spend Labor Day Weekend with us at our vacation destination in the Midwest.
Incredible Live Music
Every weekend our riverfront stage hosts the best live music in Nebraska, so it should be no surprise that our Labor Day Weekend lineup is out-of-this-world! Be sure to pack your dancing shoes because these bands will have you on the dance floor all weekend long.
It's Time to Tailgate
We're all pretty big Husker football fans around here, and Labor Day Weekend brings us the first college football Saturday of the season. Join us in the Lodge to cheer on our beloved Huskers on Saturday, August 31 when they kick off at 11:00 am against the South Alabama Jaguars. We expect to see some "tailgating" around the RV lots starting earlier in the morning too. (Just be sure you have time to get a power nap in midday so you can party with us all night!) GO HUSKERS!
Pool Time
Labor Day signifies that we're heading toward the end of the summer season and fall will be here before we know it. That gives you a good reason to get in as much pool time as possible before it gets too chilly to enjoy it!
Chill out in the pool with one of our famous Watermelons or sun yourself next to the pool and soak up a few rays. With everyone in the holiday spirit, there's bound to be a party going on in our 21+ pool!
Dining & Drinking
Labor Day Weekend is an excellent time for grilling out, but if you want to skip the cooking and concentrate on the celebrating, head on over the Lodge and let us do the cooking for you. Meet up with the gang for some of our incredible pizza or a couple of burgers.
The Lodge is a great gathering spot for everyone to meet up, have a couple of drinks, and decide how you're going to spend the weekend. (In the pool, at the concert, on the river, chilling at your campsite... there are just so many awesome possibilities at The Cottonwood Cove!)
If you've already had the pleasure of hanging out at our RV campground & marina in the Midwest, then you know exactly what kind of excitement to expect when you hang out at The Cottonwood Cove. As for the rest of you, make plans soon to stop by and have some fun with us. We're willing to bet that you have such an amazing time, you'll want to become a part of our happy Cottonwood family.
